Biodiversity
By Amos and Isaac
Biodiversity is the variety of life on Earth; The number of species of plants, animals, and microorganisms, the enormous diversity of genes in these species, the different ecosystems on the planet, such as deserts, rainforests and coral reefs. 'Who cares?' You might say this but if the human race's population keeps growing, every animal and plant on the planet will slowly have smaller life spans (ant workers already live for only 1/2 of a year). We can watch animals life spans and learn how bad our polluting has become. If you want to know how long such animals live now, look at the below graph.
